There are aphids on my petunias.
Some of my plants froze.
Most of my plants are dead.
I never see Brandon, because he does 4 jobs for the pay of 1.
This job isn't what we thought it was.
Nothing ever is.
Cooper never obeys.
My hair won't do anything.
Our lawn needs mowed.
Our lawnmower won't work.
Buying a new lawnmower is the last thing we want to do right now.
I clean houses for a job.
My house is never clean.
We're always all tired.
We have mice.
They ate my food storage.
They poop.
I hate them.
My hands are cracked from cleaning.
My favorite flip flop broke.
There is nowhere to buy new flip flops here.
Our nice neighbors just put their house up for sale.
We never have any money.
Money is stupid.
Aubrey is moody.
Tyler doesn't know what to do with himself with a cast on.
I never see Brandon.
The toilet is sluggish.
The ceiling is still an eyesore.
The roof still needs replaced.
The house still needs painted.
My pity party is over. Now leave.

But at least your kids are all potty trianed and sleeping through the night???
I love you.
Love you too, Annalee! Well... one of the kids peed the bed last night... does that count as potty trained? I know, I know! It's not so bad! I am grateful for what I have, and for my lack of "real" trials.
From one displaced Newton-ite to another, I have aphids, too. I learned that you can spray them off with the hose -- and that's as good as anything. Look at it this way: they only show up when your plants are well-watered and well-nourished!
Thanks for visiting my blog a while back, feel free to stop by anytime! (got a pic of my new violin on there now...)
So sorry! Just wanted to tell you to get some diatomaceous earth and put it on your plants for the aphids...it totally works!
Happy Mother's Day - We miss you!
Tracy
Ok first, your hair is always cute-
Second, my hubby could look at your lawn mower and help you fix it, he use to work on small enigines and I bet he could tell you what is wrong with it.
Third, my house is never clean either.
Don't you hate being in that kind of a rut?? I hope things look up--And I certainly hope you see your hubby more!! That can be SOOO hard!
i love you, mindy. you're entitled to a pity party now & then. i threw one a few weeks ago. it was fun.
Sorry you're having a hard time. I hope today was a happy Mother's day! Your postings always entertain--even when you're throwing a pity party!

Oh Mindy! I wish I could make a "quick trip" to Vernal just to give you a hug! (and our "leave it to beaver lawnmower" which you are totally welcome to have if we can find a way to get it to you!)
Just take it one day (or hour) at a time.
Love You!

I just watched Princess Diaries with my kids instead of cleaning or doing laundry...I thought of this line after your post....."my mom always told me not to cry, but you're hurt so you just cry. Cry Cry.".....sometimes we just gotta spit it all out! ;)
