I Can't Do it Yet

Today when I got back from my run, I thought I'd maybe try the cold bath thing and see if it really did help with the muscles. So, I started running the cold water...got all undressed...dipped my toe in and said, "Uh uh, no way, NOT going to happen." The toe was enough. I'll stick with warm baths, thank you very much. Maybe someday I'll get brave enough, or sore enough, to give it a try, but today was decidedly NOT that day.

tip for you :o)
Sit in the tub and then fill it up...MUCH less of a shock. And then add the ice little by little. Oh, and if you wear socks it takes the edge off for some reason.

I've never been brave enough for the ice bath either. It's gotta be cold on the cooter, right?

I don't think that there is any amount of pain and suffering that my legs could go through that would make me want to put my... umm... "boys" into an ice bath.

I'm going to go get a hot cup of coffee just thinking about it.

It is like NIKE says 'Just do it'
After my LSD last Sunday I had to do this.

I was able to stay in there for 5 minutes before I had to start the hot shower.
