Why can I run 10 miles and feel great, but struggle all the way through a 4 mile run? I don't really feel like I get in the groove until about mile 3, so I think that's why I enjoy the longer runs so much more. When I've been running around an hour, I feel like I could do anything. The problem is, I don't have an hour or more to run every day. I guess I'll have to struggle through these shorter runs, so I have the ability to do those longer runs.

I said something similar the other day... I love the long runs and the short quick ones, but those "middle" runs... ugh. I dread them!
