Cooper got baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints yesterday. It turned out so nice, and we are so proud of Cooper for making this decision. He was SO excited, and grinned most of the day (he came out of the water with a grin on his face, and he RAN to get confirmed.)

But then... it was time for more pictures. Cooper was not happy about this...

"Granny" (as Cooper calls Grandma Lynda) and Grandpa Lauritz posing with the sad Cooper. (Grandpa gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost... thank you, Dad!)

We tricked a smile out of Cooper for his picture with Grandpa and Grandma Howell... it was a feat! (Grandma played the viola for the trio that mom arranged with me and Aubrey on violin. It turned out really nice! Thank you mom!)

And the family... well, it's not a frown, right? Holly also came, and I wanted a picture with her, but as you can see, it was an ordeal. I'm sorry Holly... we really appreciated you coming!!

I love the black and white with Coop and his dad...you can see his Dad is trying to tell or teach him something, and Cooper isn't very happy, but he is totally listening...very endearing!
What a special day and what a beautiful family! Cooper's funny face reminds me of my older brother who was famous for spicing up any church or family event with his faces. In fact one time my brothers and I sang at a missionary farewell and his "faces" were the highlight of the meeting and are still talked about today. :)
ONLY YOU could make a church backdrop look awesome! :)How beautiful.
But hey..did you darken your hair?? Or is it just like that in the picture?!!? I don't remember you talking hairdye!
What a special day....made me smile!
Oh, Rachel... I was thinking how horrible the "church backdrop" was! ;)
And yes, I did darken my hair... I had to cover the grays... I know, yikes! It's a little more red than I anticipated...
Oh my goodness! I can't believe he is old enough to get baptized. That is awesome.
