I just started my "new job" today. I clean new houses after all the construction is done, before the closing. It's 5 hours of hard work, but I get paid well, so I figured it was worth it. The hardest parts were the tubs... have you ever seen a tub in a house under construction? Holy cow. So, hopefully I did alright. I was wishing so bad that one of my friends or family was here to help me. I would have gladly split the money for some company! Maybe in time I'll find a cleaning partner who I want to spend that much time with. I don't know how many houses I will have to do... I'm thinking it will really vary. Maybe 3 a month? We'll have to see how it all goes. For right now, though, I'm completely and totally exhausted! I've been a little under the weather too, and I didn't take anything to eat or drink, so that didn't help.
I had someone tell me that it wouldn't let her comment on my blog, so I changed the settings... now anybody should be able to comment. We'll try that for awhile, and see if anything wacky happens. So, if you've wanted to comment, and haven't been able to in the past, go ahead! I want to hear from all of you! :)

How nice to land a job like that. Way to go!!!! If I was close by, I'd love to join you!!!
what a great opportunity! as i said on 'apron girls', i have done it. i wish i lived closer to you and we could totally have fun! lori helped me clean the dentist office and we split the money. it took half the time, we had company, and we both still made good money. anyway. did you take the beautiful photograph of the bird on your blog? what kind of camera do you have? it is beautiful.
Tawnie and Lisa, I wish you girls could come clean with me! What a blast we would have!
Lisa, no, I didn't take that picture... I stole it off the internet. I wish I had taken it. ;) I have a canon digital camera...nothin' special!
I'm glad I don't live close to you, because I wouldn't want to come and help. I like to avoid cleaning wherever possible.
So you asked if any of us had seen a tub under construction...well i would have to say i have!!! I also had the oppurtunity to help clean, scrub, scrape and whatever else it took...93 of them yeah that was fun...i totally know how it feels to clean up a place after the dirty construction people are gone to make the place shine...
